Vario Elmar ? Why not a tele version?

Care to speculate?
I don't have a Leica Tri -elmar or WATE lens but rather a Hexanon Dual 21/35mm that is a great travel companion.
Yesterday as in in the past I wished that I could have that multi-focal length flexibility include a bit more reach.

Why no 35/50/75 or 28/50/75 or even simply a 35/75 ?

Evidently the reason for no tele version is there is no interest outside of mine.

a 75/90 would be awesome. but I fear that it would be big, heavy and expensive, and long lenses are not that popular on RF's. for most they'd might as well buy two lenses.

Probably cost and complexity balanced by demand. I have a 28-35-50 Tri Elmar and it's very nice but what I would really like is a 28-50-90 lens. Perhaps not practical. Joe
