For a limited time, RANGEFINDER magazine is offering free subscriptions
to 'qualified ' individuals. I didn't read the fine print to see who is
qualified, but you can find out for yourself at:
https://www.rangefindermag.com/subscribe/
Be advised that this mag is NOT just about rangefinder cameras or uses,
but is a long standing fave of pro photogs. Some great art in here.
Just trying to share....

For a Limited Time Only Subscriptions to Rangefinder Magazine are FREE to Qualified* Individuals!
* U.S. and Canada residents only.
:bang:
Thanks anyway.
Indeed, US and Canada only. That seems to be new. I subscribed a few months back and there is no problem with shipping to Germany. Following the print on the envelop the mag is shipped from Sweden. But maybe I will get it no longer...
Cheers

I have gotten the mag for a few years now. It is mainly geared to professional photogs and has very little to do with rangefinders. That said, it is usually a good read.
Good mag and the price is right. Sign up!
I have been waiting to receive this since signing up in August :(
Anyone who signed up get theirs?
yeah i got mine really quickly after signing up...you might try doing it again
Hmmm... maybe I did not "qualify."
I've gotten several issues. Recently I got a renewal notice. And I don't think I'll bother renewing this free subscription. It really doesn't have anything of interest for me.
I received a copy of Rangefinder Magazine two month ago here in Brazil. Will try for another free copy again. I wish I can be well succeed.

I signed up once about 4 months back and forgot about it.. then was reminded that I never received it and signed up again.. both times I was supposedly qualified for the free subscription.. I've never seen a single issue, or any notice concerning my eligibility
apparently I'm not missing anything, tho

I get the free subscription and I usually get one or two tidbits out of it each month - usually the "Cookbook" articles. I also got the renewal notice, ignored it and am still getting it. I wouldn't pay for it but I'll read it before it goes into the recycle bin which is more than most of the trash in the mail gets.

That sums up my experience as well. I'm ignoring the renewal notices.

I signed up the day this thread was posted & still haven't received an issue. I actually forgot all about it until now. I'll probably call them monday & see what the deal is.

It took quite a while for the first issue to get to me but it did last month. Not a rangefinder inside though. It is a free magazine because it basically is an advertising magazine. With a few articles in between.
Not bad at all for a free magazine.
Rob.
Curiously enough, I was able to sign up for a free subscription with an address in France... wait & see!
Rob, I understand you didn't pay a thing either?

Correct Alec, it's allright for a free magazine.

I just signed up with a Portuguese address.
What 'state' they asked. State?
I signed up too, at least some 6 months ago or so. It holds no interest for whatsoever, so for me no renewal either. Haven't got any notices yet, though. :)
In all truth this magazine is hit and miss... but sometimes it gets a good hit. I find something I really like in something like half of the issues, maybe a third. But it costs nothing... so I will keep watching for them:)

What 'state' they asked. State? There are political subdivisions such as provinces or districts in Portugal, I believe... That would be the equivalent to "state".
I've looked at Rangefinder, and the content is not reflected in its name. Too bad...

my first free issue of Rangefinder Magazine arrived a few days ago.. I had long since forgotten that I signed up for it
a quick perusal confirmed what has already been said.. it's a whole lot of ads separated by a few pages of articles.. and from what I saw, a lot of it didn't even have to do with rangefinders.. I suppose I'll look it over a little closer before filing it in the circular file

It doesn't have anything to do with rangefinders, that's just the name of the magazine. I find it has some pretty good articles on lighting techniques for portraiture and wedding photography. Really for the working professional. I really enjoy mine - going on two years now, and initially recommended here.
