Another M Body - MP / M7 or . . .

dunno if digital wasnt even an option, but IMO M9 would be perfect pair for M7.

if film only, second opinions above. another M7 to keep things simple.

You know.. this is one of the reasons I love this community - I mean, sure we have differences and yes we don't always agree, but the discussion here is respectful of everyone's suggestions without name calling or belittling people.. THANK YOU so much for this :)

Now, Roland, I see what you're saying - those little "do dads" in the corner :) I can see those being helpful. I'll be mulling - I think i may still go with another M7 to make it simpler but I can always mull.

I'm now going to have to ask "which 90mm"? I guess it'll be something other than an ASPH because that is unattainable financially for me :)

Cheers,
dave

Which 90 ? Summicron pre-asph v3.

Or 75 if you get an M7. And you know which one I will recommend ..... Alas, you sold yours a while back ?

Oh hey.. :)

Blake, ya.. I got it :) thank you :) my apologies for not replying sooner - it came in at the end of last week & it's been a bit stressful around the office of late so my apologies in not letting you know about it.

WRT the 90's, Roland, ya.. MikeL has my Summilux.. he's just rubbing it in above *LOL*

I like the size of the pre-ASPH v3 of the 90 cron though.. looks decent. I'm not so sure on the 90 elmarit.

Cheers,
Dave

I would consider the Nikon film body but, I guess, I want to limit "big gear" that I carry if I'm shooting a film wedding - I'll be running a lot - I do regularly with my D700/grip and whack of lenses - and lemme tell ya.. I'm SORE the next day :D

F100 doesn't fit the bill? Not that big, really, and you only have to carry one set of lenses. Fantastic metering too.

And dirt cheap compared to MP/M7! :)
